Charlie Brown is a local artist who carves and paints wooden sculptures. Charlie taught himself how to sculpt and has been working with wood all of his life, specialising in souvenirs and decorative ornaments.
Five years ago, he built his roadside store with his own hands and now works from this location. If you visit on the right day you can witness Charlie at work on his current project. When I came to visit, he was carving out a sign for a local hotel.
Charlie Brown's carves a wide range of ornaments including fish, Rastafarian heads and human profiles.
