Goldeneye is also historic. This is where Ian Fleming crafted all his James Bond novels. What Fleming loved most about Goldeneye was the out of doors, nature, the sounds and colors, the peace and drama of living by the sea. The three bedroom Fleming House is the original building where Ian Fleming wrote 17 of his Bond books. Villas 1, 2 & 3 each have the corresponding number of bedrooms; Villa 1 Honeychile, Villa 2 – Tiffany Case and Domino and Villa 3 – Romanov, Solitaire and Vesper. Royal Palm is a magnificent waterfront villa where each of the three bedrooms are their own spacious building.

Imagine yourself far away from the city chaos, on a secluded 18 acre retreat enjoying the surrounding lush green tropical trees by the stunning blue sea! That's exactly what you can expect at the historic Goldeneye. Its villas are cozy and superbly designed with lots of wood, cane and cool tones. The Royal Palm comes with a kitchen, a bar, 3 bedrooms and has a large deck that opens into the water. Villa 1 is tucked under a huge banyan tree and has an exotic open shower besides the other facilities. The other two villas and the Fleming House also have unique tropical architecture.

Location

Located in the quiet village of Oracabessa, Goldeneye is set in rural and dramatically scenic St. Mary parish, a 20 min. drive from the resort town of Ocho Rios. Goldeneye sits on a bluff facing the blue Caribbean Sea, offering a dramatic coastline of secret coves and private beaches for you to explore and enjoy.

The nearest commercial airport is Donald Sangster International Montego Bay; however the Kingston Airport is an equally viable option. Goldeneye is a 2–hour drive from Montego Bay, 2 and a half hour from Kingston Airport.

Dining

Jamaica's herbs and spices are pungent and potent – you will be introduced to the fiery scotch bonnet pepper; pimento, nutmeg, ginger, tamarind and sweet coconut will delight your palate.

All meals are complimented by fresh fruit juices and Blue Mountain coffee as well as tropical fruit cocktails, including the famous Goldeneye Rum Punch, fine wines and Red Stripe beer.

Goldeneye serves traditional Jamaican cuisine, which is a melding of cultures and influences. Menus are created using market fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. Fresh fish and lobster are purchased daily from local fishermen. Janga or freshwater crayfish are caught in nearby rivers. Our Jerk chicken and pork are an island classic.
