Tamarind Guest House – Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Tamarind Great House is built on the original site of an 18th century dwelling. Nestled in the hills above Oracabessa, it is surrounded by 12 acres of citrus plants. We grow our own organic vegetables for the table as well as providing home produced honey, fresh water fish and our own chickens.
There is a swimming pool, many bars, beautiful walking trails, a waterfall and two plantation tours nearby. Activities include: Horse Riding, Bird Watching Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Hill or River Walking, Pool BBQ every Sunday Artists– Retreat/Haven Just lazing by the pool!
Our bright & airy spacious bedrooms, first built in the 18th century have been lovingly restored and have four poster beds. A holiday in these surroundings will make your trip to Jamaica complete.
