In a verdant setting that's a 10–minute walk from the urban congestion of Montego Bay, this hotel was formerly known as the Verney House Hotel –– offers a feeling of remote calm. You can still get to where the action is by making a short trek downhill, or kick back on the sand by heading to one of several beaches (such as Cornwall Beach) that lie about 5 minutes away by foot.

The inn also provides free van transportation to and from the beach. Each unit sports white walls and simple furnishings, creating the sense that you're in a private home. The restaurant and bar both overlook the swimming pool.

The hotel's Kit Kat restaurant is a favorite. Whenever the hotels in Montego Bay are asked to recommend a restaurant serving real Jamaican cooking, they refer people here. A free shuttle runs to Doctor's Cave Beach on weekdays; there's also a pool on the property.
