Dunns River Falls

Take a trip to Dunns River Falls located in Ocho Rios a few miles from the city center and one of the major tourist attraction in Jamaica. The town was founded by Thomas Reid in 1769 with wide streets laid out in a grid with water supply and public buildings. Green Grotto Caves

The Green Grotto Caves are Jamaica's most prominent natural attractions with visitors of international repute dating back as far as the 18^th century. Green Grotto is 1,525 metres long and 12 metres deep and is characterised by numerous chambers and light holes and a subterranean lake - the Grotto Lake - occupies its bowels. The caves can also be identified with that period between the two world wars where they were used by smugglers running arms to Cuba.

You'll see a tally, used to count bananas carried on men's heads from plantation to ship, as well as a planter's strongbox with a weighted lead base to prevent its theft.
