Dunns River Falls is a famous waterfall near Ocho Rios, Jamaica and a major Caribbean tourist attraction. Dunns River Falls located in Ocho Rios a few miles from the city center. The Dunns River Falls cascade over smooth lime stone rocks, through the tropical rain forest all the way to the white sandy beach below. You can climb up the water falls which is 183 meters (600 feet) high. Visitors to the Green Grotto Caves can see relics of the native Taino Arawak lifestyle there. It is said that many Spaniards escaped the English invasion of 1655 through secret passages in the caves with the help of Arawaks and African slaves, in exchange for their freedom.

The Ocho Rios Craft Park is one of several handicraft venues, with one hundred fifty vendors selling carvings, traditional woven crafts, and even personalized items.

Island Plaza located in the center of town has some of the best Jamaican art, all paintings by local artists. You can also purchase local handmade craft, carvings, ceramics, kitchenware and the inevitable T-shirts.
