Deep Sea Fishing Adventure in Ocho Rios

Ocho Rios is still one of Jamaica's premier deep sea fishing location that caters for hotel, cruise passengers, villas and private guest. We cater for families, groups or couple who want a half or full day fishing adventure in Ocho Rios.

Ocho Rios Marine use to host one of the largest marlin Marlin tournaments in Jamaica with dozens of boats out daily trying to land a record marlin. Over the years anglers have landed some record catches included the ultimate fish, the Blue Marlin. The buzz goes up around the marina whenever someone comes over the radio and said "we have a big one onboard". Scores of people gathered, curious to see if another record will be broken, when the fish is weighed. Celebration followed with some Redstrip, rum and the right to brag about your catch.

These days catch and release is becoming more popular to preserve the fish stock and give the fish a chance to fight another day. The catch and release is a conservation program design to release any captured fish back into the water before they experience any serious injury and exhaustion. This is achieved by using barbless hooks in some cases, which can make landing the fish a bit more challenging and fun.

Deep Sea Fishing Charter Starting Point

The main deep sea fishing boats are based at the Ocho Rios Marina, just off the main street in Ocho Rios. We also pickup directly from selected hotels and transport you to and from your hotel. In some case we can pick from some hotels that have proper docking facilities.

All our boats come fully equipped with all fishing gear and an experience crew. They know all the best fishing spot and will get you fishing within 10 minutes after you leave the dock. We use a minimum of 6 lines in the water and you are free to chose any rod once we are underway. You can then sit back, relax, have a few Redstrinpe and get ready to set the hook when the first one bite.

Deep Sea Fishing Boat

The boats have comfortable cabins, bedroom, bathroom, galley, air conditioned, refrigerator, stove, microwave, shower and are fully equipped for your adventure at sea. Each deep sea fishing boat comes with a professional crew with solid reputation for landing the big fish such as Blue/White Marlin, Kingfish, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Tuna, Blackfin Tuna and Mahi Mahi.

Light snacks and beverages are provided on the boat for your enjoyment, extra can be supplied a local rate upon request include Red Stripe Beer, water, soda pop, champagne :: Rice and peas, rolls, chicken, jerk pork, vegetables etc.
