About Dunns River Falls Park and Garden
Dunn's River Falls is a famous waterfall near Ocho Rios, Jamaica and a major Caribbean tourist attraction. Dunns River Falls located in Ocho Rios a few miles from the city center. The Dunns River Falls cascade over smooth lime stone rocks, through the tropical rain forest all the way to the white sandy beach below.
Dunn's River Falls Park
Dunn's River Falls Park has excellent parking facilities, picnic areas, as well as terracing and decks, which allow scenic views of the falls for those that cannot climb the falls. Dunn's River Falls Park is the perfect environment for fun and relaxation for the entire family. The Cafeteria has savoury delights to please any palate from spicy jerked chicken, pork, fish, curried goat, rice and peas, rice and delectable snacks. You can also take advantage of the several barbecue pits around the park. The park also offers excellent shopping opportunities for souvenirs such as t-shirts, wood carvings and craft items.
Climbing the Dunns River Falls
You climb the Dunns River Falls in a human chain led by an experience guide, who will also take your camera and pictures as you climb. You will also be accompanied by a videographer who will make a video of your climb, which you can purchase at the end of your climb on a DVD. Smaller water falls create cool refreshing pools where climbers can take a dip.
The Cruise
Cruise along the scenic coastline of Ocho Rios which is framed by the lush hills over looking the bay. The cruise take you past some of the best film locations such as James Bond and other films. The property is located at the far end of Dunns River Falls beach. Enjoy some of Jamaica's potent rum cocktails, rum punch, redstripe and sodas while you soak up the sun on the deck of the boat. You can even try out some of your reggae moves or just sit back and relax.
Your tour includes admission to the Dunn's River Fall's which we generally like to tackle first thing in the morning to avoid the large cruise ship tours. Your Dunn's River Guides are excellent and will give you all the support and confidence you will need to accomplish this journey.
