Home of Ex-Mayor Cecil Charlton. Considered one of the most interesting homes in Mandeville. Although Mandeville is not located along the water's edge, it is a South Coast destination that is gradually gaining in popularity. Rather than your typical island adventure, guests of Mandeville vacation rentals can stroll the area around Cecil Charlton Park and soak in the rich history of the town.

St. Mark's Church on the south side is certainly worth a look, while shopping in Mandeville in either the old town center or in Grove Court is always a delight.

Cecil Charlton Park, named for a former mayor. The Mandeville Courthouse stands on the northern tier of this plaza. Built of cut limestone in 1816 in Georgian style, it has an unusual double staircase and is graced with Doric columns.

Just east of the Green on Hotel St is the Mandeville Hotel, probably the oldest in the island and dating from the late 1800_s when everybody who was anybody tried to spend the summer there.

Mandeville cannot be called a real touristy place. Nevertheless the town is worth to be visited. The town counts many interesting buildings under which Mandeville Courthouse on Mandeville Square on the north side of the British locking Cecil Charlton Park. On the other side of the park you can find St. Mark's Church, a most charming little church.
