In Oracabessa, St. Mary, lies the admired James Bond Beach. This is the estate of the late Ian Flemming, the writer of OO7. Located just 20 minutes from of Ocho Rios James Bond Beach is surrounded by crystal clear water on three sides and an amazing backdrop; the lush mountains of St. Mary reaching straight down to the sea.

This sandy stretch is on Jamaica's northeastern coast. If you are staying at the Golden Seas Beach Resort it is just 3.5 miles away. James Bond Beach is near Port Maria, so you can explore the town after your visit to the beach. James Bond fans can spend a day at this beach, close to Goldeneye, the home of author Ian Fleming, creator of 007. The author would swim here and you can too.

James Bond Beach is well known for the fabulous fresh fish and seafood served at the two story Moonraker "Jamaican" Bar & Grill. If you are looking for a little excitement James Bond Beach also offers guided waverunner tours. Ride past the famous Golden Eye, where Ian Fleming wrote the James Bond novels then on to pass UB40's home and some of the most breathtaking views that can only be seen on a personal watercraft.
