The parish of St. Elizabeth is considered the breadbasket of Jamaica with its numerous vegetable, fruit and cattle farms and fishing communities who largely supply produce to regional markets. Farmers regularly visit the property selling their melons, tomatoes, thyme and scallion, while fishermen pull up to the shore with fresh seafood on a daily basis. Our menus reflect our commitment to the local produce and offers the best of Jamaican cuisine with an international flare.
Jake's restaurants feature fresh, innovative spicy cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. The restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An inviting bar by the salt-water pools nerves drinks.
Little Ochie
Offers some of the best " freshest seafood you will find in the world. It's a great setting "on the beach" old boats have been given thatched roofs, raised on stilts and outfitted with benches and tables.
Jack Sprat Pizza and Seafood Restaurant
Located on the western end of the property, right on its very own bay, Jack Sprat serves up seafood any way you like it and without a doubt the best pizza you'll find on the island. A real hub for the local community, the restaurant also has a small ice cream counter, weekly bonfires on the beach, live music (on public holidays) and soon to come, a mini reggae "museum".
It's a must-see for a drink at sunset. Jake's is a great restaurant with authentic Jamaican cuisine. Jake's is our Favorite place to visit! Best pizza in Jamaica!
Dining
The food at Jakes is a reflection of the hospitality that is unique to the South Coast. Fresh is the order of the day - fish; crab and lobster are bountiful and constant.
By prior arrangement Jake's chefs will give a cooking lesson to a maximum of 4 persons. Learn the secrets of Jerk cooking and spices, how to prepare certain exotic tropical fruits like ackee and traditional dishes like 'Run Down'. Lessons have to be planned for midweek, between 3 and 5 PM. Talk with the ladies at front desk to schedule.
