Dunns River Falls

Green Grotto Caves

The Green Grotto Caves are Jamaica's most prominent natural attractions with visitors of international repute dating back as far as the 18^th century. Green Grotto is 1,525 metres long and 12 metres deep and is characterised by numerous chambers and light holes and a subterranean lake - the Grotto Lake - occupies its bowels. The caves can also be identified with that period between the two world wars where they were used by smugglers running arms to Cuba.

Doctors Cave Beach

The Doctor's Cave legend began in 1920 when an article was published about the healing powers of the water that laps its shores. Sir Herbert Barker, a famous British Osteopath visited the beach and later published an article boosting it by declaring that the waters have curative powers and that he was restored to good health after bathing there. The rich and famous use to visit the bath to enjoy the healing powers of the water. Now you can enjoy spending a few hours on the popular Doctor's Cave Beach.
